Legal Service Plans, Inc. and the CCUA Charitable Foundation Mark a Successful Connection

Through the participation and generosity of Connecticut credit unions and their members, Legal Service Plans, Inc. has donated approximately $1,700 to the Connecticut Credit Union Association Charitable Foundation. This rewarding connection came about through a special promotion during which the Legal Service Plans, Inc. committed to donate money for every credit union member who joined the Plan.  Participating credit unions throughout the state promoted the Plan and, as a result, many credit union members took advantage of the Plan’s many benefits, including will preparation, important document review, legal advice and consultation and much more.

Since 1980, the Connecticut Credit Union Association Charitable Foundation has raised funds for charitable purposes through one-on-one appeals and major annual fund-raising events. The Foundation depends on credit union volunteers to help perform its worthwhile work, which includes cash donations to Connecticut charities and social service organizations, and food donations to shelters, soup kitchens and other worthy agencies.

Legal Service Plans, Inc., also established in 1980 to make legal access an affordable option for Connecticut credit union members, is proud to participate in the Foundation’s good works. We thank Connecticut’s credit unions and their members for helping us make a difference.
